The Ville published a press release explaining why it is removing two emblematic properties from its portfolio.
At the next municipal council meeting, on May 13, the Ville will announce which real estate agent has been selected to sell the properties.
Many citizens and retailers are unhappy with the Ville’s decision to sell both buildings at the same time that the rencontres participatives Rues principales are discussing the future of the Old Village.
The citizens and retailers are right; the Ville should not dispose of these properties during a so-called “revitalization.”
