Mr. Stéphane Martin, Deputy Director of the Urban Planning Department, unexpectedly announced on July 17 that his last day at City Hall would be August 1.
This news follows the sudden resignation in May of the Director of the Urban Planning Department, Ms. Geneviève Demers, who now works for the Municipality of La Conception as the Planning and Environment Coordinator.
Mont-Tremblant lost the two most experienced members of the Urban Planning Department, each with over 30 years of experience.
The Ville has not yet filled the director and deputy director positions. Hiring top-level talent is essential, as the stakes in Mont-Tremblant are high, particularly in the context of the ongoing review of the draft master plan and the resulting new regulations.
