Our non-profit organization participated in two information meetings last month. The Ville is now inviting citizens to respond to an online questionnaire regarding this reform UNTIL MARCH 17. We invite you to take ten minutes to participate in this important survey.
To ensure that real estate projects in our region are developed in harmony with the territory and that their density and quality is better controlled, Les Amis de Mont-Tremblant believes that the regulatory framework should be modified and tightened.
The online questionnaire is imperfect and the answer options for several questions could be more nuanced. Despite this, it’s an opportunity to tell our elected officials that the regulations should be modified and strengthened to avoid repeating past mistakes.
For example, the recurring issue of regulation is illustrated in the two photos above: according to the Ville’s regulations, the construction project at 150 chemin Desmarais is a “two-story” building.
