The former Gray Rocks Hotel site has changed hands. The Lac Ouimet property was acquired in 2018 by a numbered company owned by developer Cédric Grenon (LAGO Lac Tremblant); ownership was recently transferred to a group of residents of Lac Ouimet, apparently to avoid high density development.
This news finally brings to a close an unfortunate chapter that included a lawsuit by the developer against the Ville and plans for a ridiculous water park at Lac Ouimet, which was later changed to a proposed 350-unit real estate project.
