Versant Soleil: 500, 880, or 720 units? The Ville clarifies the situation

The development of Versant Soleil is governed by a 2003 Framework Agreement (obtained by Les Amis through an Access to Information request) which limits the sector to a total of 2,000 units. Every new project reduces this global reserve.

Following our interventions, the Ville clarified that the current phase involving Club Med and the Groupe Brivia totals 720 units:

600 Shared Units: A flexible block divided between the two developers. The more Club Med uses (max. 310), the fewer remain for the Groupe Brivia (max. 290).

120 Employee Units: Additional “dormitory-style” rooms, which are excluded from standard tourist density calculations.

Our point of view: As further land sales are expected by Station Mont Tremblant, the Ville has still not provided the necessary infrastructure data to prove that the sector can support such growth.
